Throughout the month of May, the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer, in partnership with Lutheran Cancer Center, hosts Turn the Town Pink, a celebration of our shared commitment to battling breast cancer.
With a contribution as low as $5, supporters can donate a ribbon in honor of a loved one as a visual reminder of what everyone can do to help raise breast cancer awareness. The ribbons are then used to decorate downtown Fort Wayne, the locations of the Vera Bradley Foundation’s annual Classic Golf & Tennis Tournament, and many local neighborhoods.
Last year, with your help we raised a total of $55,843! The funds we raise go directly to the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer Research Laboratories at the Indiana University Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis.
Held on three consecutive Fridays, this year’s events were a tremendous display of love, support and hope.
