Who better to share a stylish, scholarly outfit than a current student? We enlisted one of our fashion-savvy summer interns to seek out essential wardrobe pieces for the perfect first day back on campus.
Paige joins the Marketing/Public Relations team from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. She will return next semester to rejoin her friends and commitments at Delta Gamma Fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity and Butler’s American Marketing Association (BAMA), as she completes her senior year. “I am sad to leave this amazing place,” she said of her time at Vera Bradley. “It is going way too fast!”
For this outfit, Paige chose the recently redesigned Messenger in Va Va Bloom for her school bag. “This is a pretty popular style on campus,” she said. “It’s great because I can put my Macbook in a Laptop Sleeve and carry it all crossbody.” A Smartphone Wristlet lends well to more carefree activities. “Sometimes you just need to run and grab a cup of coffee or head to the gym. You don’t need your whole bag.” A 2013 Student Agenda helps Paige keep her schedule in line, while fun little extras, like Highlighters and a Hardshell Case make heading off to class more of a colorful affair.
Vibrant school supplies paired with eye-catching denim and playful statement pieces make for just the right combination of fun and function. The semester sure looks bright!

I use the Vera Bradley agendas every year for school and refuse to use any other kind. SO great! Love the new items!!
I wish the regular agenda was spiral bound and had the hour by hour for each day.
Of course there is someone who can perfectly match VB and clothes!! And that person has done an amazing job! I would absolutely wear something like that to compliment my VB products!
